I am trying to join two statements but keep getting errors. Please could someone help me and explain how to join them into one statement? Both Statements work correctly on their own

=IF(AND(A12>=\$K\$3,A12<=\$L\$3),"Sunday",(TEXT(A12,"dddd")))
=IF(AND(A12>=\$K\$4,A12<=\$L\$4),"Sunday",(TEXT(A12,"dddd")))

 ROW/ COLUMN Column A Column K Column L 1 LEAVE 2 START END 3 2018/03/05 2018/03/24 4 2018/12/16 2019/01/02 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 Thu 2018/03/01 Thursday Thursday 13 Fri 2018/03/02 Friday Friday 14 Sat 2018/03/03 Saturday Saturday 15 Sun 2018/03/04 Sunday Sunday 16 Mon 2018/03/05 Sunday Monday 17 Tue 2018/03/06 Sunday Tuesday 18 Wed 2018/03/07 Sunday Wednesday 19 Thu 2018/03/08 Sunday Thursday 20 Fri 2018/03/09 Sunday Friday 21 Sat 2018/03/10 Sunday Saturday

### Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.

Are they meant to be an OR or an AND.

OR would be this for example:

=IF(OR(AND(A12>=\$K\$3,A12<=\$L\$3),AND(A12>=\$K\$4,A12<=\$L\$4)),"Sunday",(TEXT(A12,"dddd")))

Thank you so much ... that is exactly what I was looking for. I tried the 'or' instead of the 'and' but never thought to put them together

To include all the cells K3 to L11 would I just expand the references for Column K from K3 to K11 and the same for Column L or is there a more elegant way of referencing those cells?
