Jumping to cell reference

On a previous machine, when there was a direct cell reference in a cell (ie in A1 the formula was =A2), if I double clicked on cell A1, I would be transported to cell A2. However, now when I double click, all that happens is that the cell (A1) opens up for editing.

Does anyone know what setting to change so that you jump to the cell reference rather than open the cell for editing?

Cheers

Excel Facts

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
Go to tools --> options --> transition and check "transition formula evaluation"

Thanks Oaktree - however, even after saving the file (with both 'Transition Formula Evaluation' and 'Transition Formula Entry' ticked), I'm still not transported to the reference cell but remain in the original cell with it opening for editing.

Any further clues?

Cheers
