Just discovered use for named ranges...

Oh my GOD! Reading a random thread on here, and I just discovered how to use formulas in named ranges!! This is amazing. I also learned about 3-D references.

I feel like a complete newbie now :| I can't believe what a headache I've been putting myself through before now.

I lub this forum :p
 

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
That would have been more amazing if you have posted a link to that thread, so that some others will also benefit from it.
 
I didn't read a tutorial type thread, the question actually wasn't answered. I just saw someone said formulas in named ranges and then used the help menu in excel and it had a related answer about 3-D references.

I read all I could and then started playing around.

I could try to answer some basic questions if you have any.
