How can I keep a selected shape from looking like it's selected? I've created an arrow shape:

Code:
ActiveSheet.Shapes.AddConnector(msoConnectorStraight, XStart, YStart, XEnd, YEnd). _
        Select
    Selection.ShapeRange.Line.EndArrowheadStyle = msoArrowheadOpen
    Selection.ShapeRange.Line.ForeColor.ObjectThemeColor = msoThemeColorText1

I want to manipulate it either without having to select it or by having Excel not show those selection marks (the little circles that appear at both ends of the arrow when you click on it). Any tips would be appreciated.

Many thanks.

Hi,

You could assign a macro to the arrow. The macro does not have to do anything. For example:
Code:
Sub DoNothing()

End Sub
