I know this used to be possible and forget the old hotkeys, and I can't find it mentioned anywhere via google and lists of hotkeys.

Let's say I have selected D100 to F200 using mouse or keyboard.
I started top left so the active cell is F200.
I can right arrow, page down on the keyboard etc to extend the selection down and right, or reduce it up and left.
What if I want to extend the whole box to the left, and select C100 to F200 by keyboard? (or A5 to F200).
This works if you can rotate the active cell around the selection - F200 to D200 to D100 to F100.

Anyone know how (or another way to solve the problem)?
I find I need it a lot, when I have a large selection that I don't want to extend with mouse, and takes forever with CTRL page down or CTRL-Down arrow because there are many blank and non-blank cells so the selection keeps stopping. Much faster to rotate selection to a blank column or full column and extend via that. Or select via a full column, and then move selection out of that column.

And pls don't say I should just start from the opposite side so the selection point is the right place - I find I need to make multiple changes and don't always know how far the selection is going to go in the current column.

Thank you!

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
If I'm understanding you, CTRL-SHIFT-[LEFT|RIGHT|UP|DOWN]

Nah - if I selected starting top left, then your keystrokes move the bottom right cell of the selection (F200), and leaves the top left cell (D100) as the anchor. I want to anchor from a different corner of the selection (D200, F100, F200) and move the opposite corner (F100, D200, D100).

Additionally this link also describes going from/to top LHS to bottom RHS

You ARE the MVP! It wasn't on the lists of shortcuts I'd gone to.
Thank you!!

Also - "CTRL+." - shortest correct solution ever?
