First off, I'm open to a variety of solutions for this situation. I'm currently working on using excel to make a searchable database of documents. I'm hyperlinking the articles, and have some advanced filter settings right now. I'm making a column that contains keywords that relate to the article/document and want to be able to search for multiple terms at once. The trouble I've seen with the filter feature and a few macros I've tried, only picks out a word or two at time or it has to be a specific chain of words, I'm trying to have up to 10 keywords that relate to each article so i need to be able to pick any of the terms regardless of the order the are entered in the cell. My ideal solution would be user friendly and easy to change as you might want to adjust keywords often when searching through 100's-1000's of articles. I want to highlight the cells or "hide" rows that don't have the chosen keywords. Any suggestions on where to go from here?

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
I am thinking you might need to write an SQL query.
