Hi,

I’ve got an excel sheet with 7 headings:

Last Name, First Name, Title, Company Name, Address, City, ST, Zip.

I’m trying to print labels. I do the mail merge for Word 2000 and get to the end & then it doesn’t work. These are the fields it has me choose from:

AutoMergeField
AutoMergeField1
AutoMergeField2

And so on.

I tried ((LastName)) ((Last_Name)) and ((Last Name)) and none seem to work. I can’t get the right fields into the labels. Any ideas on how I can do this? The (( )) are really arrows but I can't print them here as they don't show up.

Thank you,

Jerry

What is the fastest way to copy a formula?
If A2:A50000 contain data. Enter a formula in B2. Select B2. Double-click the Fill Handle and Excel will shoot the formula down to B50000.
Sigh, unfortunately, it doesn't have the answer. I just don't know what to put in the fields to make it work.

Thanks anyway. :)

Something must be going wrong when you do the mail merge.

You should end up with a dropdown with the headings.

Are you sure you selected all the correct options?

I know it's weird. I only get 5 fields to use & I have at least 7 diff. ones from the Excel doc. I'm merging from. I followed the directions from help so I think it's right but I would never swear it.

Thanks.

Oh, well.
