I created a scientific XY-scatter/curve plot. My numerical values on the x-axis are integers at exactly at 1 through 8. I select label bounds from 0 to 9 to avoid plotting on the axes. The x label displays from 0 to 9. I would like the numbers 0 and 9 not to show on the x label, only the numbers 1 through 8, in spite the bounds range being from 0 to 9. Could any experienced Excel user help me please?

Excel Facts

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
Use this number format for the axis labels: [<1]"";[>8]"";0

Thank you, Jon. It worked! I use Excel for theoretical modelling in applied physics and this feature was important for proper presentation of the results. Thanks again - Tom
