I would like to group cells in a form I am creating such that a few blocks of cells are hidden. I want to be able to label those groupings so that people using the form can know which ones they want to open or leave closed.

Can anyone tell me what is the best way to do this?

Hello and Welcome,

If your rows are grouped due to having added Subtotals, it is usually pretty clear what data is associated with the expand/collapse buttons.

If your cells are grouped due to a reason other than subtotals, the best method to label your groups will probably vary depending on the layout of your data. You might consider using Column A to label the Grouped Rows (or Row 1 if you are labeling Grouped Columns).

Would that work for your form?
