Large Data set alternatives!

I am trying to create a sample file for our users where they can input the data and create bulk upload files to be uploaded in our system.
I created a sheet as data base which has a list of about 100,000+ entries in 5 columns.
Another calculation sheet was created to check if the users input is there in database or not and then return the match as per our database.
We want to give users about 2000 rows for input
The issue is that the calculation sheet now created as 2,000 X 100,000+ formulas and the file size just humongous, it crashes my PC everytime.
Is there an alternative which can used in this case or any solution within excel?

use Power Query instead of formulae
