Easy bullets in Excel
If you have a numeric keypad, press Alt+7 on numeric keypad to type a bullet in Excel.
Try opening the excel file using microsioft word, you may be able to open, after that you can copy paste to excel sheet and save as small excel files.. hope i'm clear..

Hi,

This sounds complicated. How many sheets does the w/book include and how large is the file? Does it also include lot of functions/formulas?

At this stage I believe we need more information but meanwhile You may
try to do the following:

- Open Excel
- Choose the command Tools | Option and the tab Calculation
- Check the option "Manual" in the section of Calculation
- Open Your workbook

Kind regards,
Dennis

DO one thing relocate the file to another part of your hard disk (copy and paste using windows explorer) and then open excel and then open this file from file open tab.

try this

I would suggest that You do the following:

Open the workbook, although it take some time, copy the data from every sheet to new workbooks.

If this will be done repeatedly then I suggest You create a VBA-procedure based on an ADO-approach (see the archieve for good examples).

Has the file-size increased dramatically from one session to another?

Kind regards,
Dennis
