Last Cell in a Column with Data

Hi,
I just simply would like to be able to have a formula that will show the Value of the Last Cell in a Column with Data, even if further cells with data are added at future stage.

Will there be any blank cells in the list?

Is the data text or numeric (or mixed)?

If numeric then for column A

=LOOKUP(9.99999999999999E+307,A:A)
