Is there a simple way to get the value of the last cell in a range. I tried specialcells(xlcelltypelastcell) but ir returns the last cell in the used range which isn't necessarilly the same as the last cell in the selected range. Any help would be grealty appreciated.

What is the fastest way to copy a formula?
If A2:A50000 contain data. Enter a formula in B2. Select B2. Double-click the Fill Handle and Excel will shoot the formula down to B50000.
To get the last cell in a selected contiguous rectangular range :-

Set lastCell = Selection.Cells(Selection.Cells.Count)
