Hi,

Not sure this can be done, but if anyone can find out it is probably you. :)

I have a line graph with the monthly results of a company. I have used an offset-formula for the graph, so that when the users update the dropdown menu in the workbook to the current month the line graph will consist of the results Jan-current month.

My problem is that i also want to have a data label in the graph, but only for the last data point. And in addition to the data point (for example 10 mill) I want to have a paranthesis with the change from last year in %. So that if we were in October the line graph will show the results from Jan-Oct with one data label to the right of the point for October showing for example 10 (4 %).

Is this doable?

Regards,
Robert

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
Hi,

See Andy Pope's example LabelLast

Sorry, should've said I've taken a look at this example. I've managed to make the graph only show the last label, but really my problem is to have another value in parenthesis behind the "real" value.

I'll try to make it more clear. If one of our companies made 10 mill in March, and that is a 4% increase compared to last year I want only one label to show (the one for March) and to have it show as "10 (4%)". With Andy Pope's example I was able to show 10, but as soon as I tried to include "(4%)" Excel naturally sees it all as text and not a number with text connected to it.

Anyways, thanks for the help so far Krishnakumar.
