Hi!
I don't if this is even possible but maybe someone can help me. Is it possible to have another spreadsheet link to another one and have a cell that has some kind of formula that will give the number that was last inputed on the other spreadsheet?

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.

Welcome to the board.

Code:
=LOOKUP(9.99999999999999E307,sheet2!A:A)
will return the last value in column A of sheet 2

Is that along the lines of what you're after?

Welcome to the board,
Oaktree's formula above will show you the value of the last cell with a value in it (the one furthest down the column) in column A of sheet2.

If you're looking for a bit more than that, and don't mind a VBA solution, you could use the worksheet change event. Try this out.
Right click the sheet tab for sheet1 and choose View code.
Paste this code into the white area that is the sheet code module.
Code:
Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)
If Target = "" Then Exit Sub
If Target.Count > 1 Then Exit Sub
Sheets("Sheet2").[A1].Value = " '" & Target.Value & "' is the value of the last cell changed (" & Target.Address(0, 0) & ") in '" & Sheets("Sheet1").Name & "'"
End Sub
Press Alt+Q to get back to your excel sheet.
Make an entry anywhere in Sheet1 and look at cell A1 in sheet2.

Just another idea...
