Hi,
I'd like to get the name of the author who last saved the files

I can get the FileDateTime but cant see how best to get the author.
Can someone point me in the right direction

Regards Peter

exist = Dir(coster_folder & "\" & "*.xlsm")
While exist <> ""

Cells(r, 7).Value = Format(FileDateTime(coster_folder & "\" & exist), "yyyy-mm-dd h:mmampm")

r = r + 1
exist = Dir

Excel Facts

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
You can use the Built In Properties

VBA Code:
Debug.Print ThisWorkbook.BuiltinDocumentProperties("Last Author")
