leading zero issue

hello all. i have a column of numbers that all have the letters GAT in front of them. I want to drop the GAT. when I do the leading zeros also drop. I have tried formatting but no matter what I do a GAT0110 becomes 110. Any help appreciated

Is this a formula question for result in a different column or a VBA question to change the existing values? Or something else?

Hi. Actually all I'm doing is using the replace in the Home/Find and Select then then Replace GAT. It does that but also drops the leading zeros which are part of a part number

Then you can replace GAT with ' instead of replacing it with nothing.
