I need to create a list of numbers in the following format:

0001/01
0001/02
0001/03
0001/04
0001/05
0002/01
0002/02
0002/03

(Range from 0001/01 to 3600/05)

and so on and so forth, but cannot find a way to create this in Excel!

I'm quite a noob to excel, so anyones expertise would be greatly appreciated!

Many thanks

Welcome to the board!

Try:

=TEXT(INT((ROW()+4)/5),"0000")&"/"&TEXT(MOD(ROW()-1,5)+1,"00")

in A1 and drag down.
