Leading Zeros in a .CSV

Morning everyone.

I've got a file that I have to save as a .csv to be run through our integration software. The issue I'm having is that many of our item numbers begin with leading zeros, so when I save the .xls as a .csv, the zeros go away.

I've tried to format everything as text, and nothing is working.

Is there anything I can do to get the leading zeros to stay put in a .csv?

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
Thank you Andrew. It didn't even occur to me to see if the .txt format was compatible with our integration software.

Worked like a charm.

Thanks again.
