I am trying to learn how to use Excel functions with VB code.

I am getting a "Compile error: Sub or Function not defined" with the following ....

I assign the variable.
Code:
Dim iFCCdel As Integer
I assign the function to the variable.
Code:
iFCCdel = CountIf("A:A", "C")
- Count all instances of "C" in column A
And use the value calculated.
Code:
MsgBox = ("CLASS C RECORDS:" & iFCCdel)

Obviously I'm missing something.

Back into an answer in Excel
Use Data, What-If Analysis, Goal Seek to find the correct input cell value to reach a desired result
Hmmm ... got rid of one error, but led to another. LOL
"Compile Error: Function call on left-hand side of assignment must return Varient or Object."

Code stopped on
Code:
MsgBox = ("CLASS C RECORDS:" & iFCCdel)

Sorry, I didn't spot that one:

Code:
MsgBox "CLASS C RECORDS: " & iFCCdel
