Excel Facts

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
You are missing the row and column references

Cells(i, "F") = Left(Cells(?,?), Len(Cells(?,?) - 3) & Cells(i, "BT")

Have you changed the code to include the rows and columns?

Cells(i, "F") = Left(Cells(?,?), Len(Cells(?,?) - 3) & Cells(i, "BT")

I think you have a ) in the wrong place

Cells(i, 6) = Left(Cells(i, "BT"), Len(Cells(i, "BT")) - 3) '& Cells(i, "BT")

Try

Code:
Cells(i, 6).Value = Val(Trim(Left(Cells(i, "BT").Value, InStr(Cells(i, "BT").Value, " "))))
