I am using Legacy Sharing on my Workbook, with .AutoUpdateFrequency = 5 (minutes).

When I have the Workbook open in Read-Write mode, updates are pulled in every 5 minutes.

However, when the same Workbook is open in Read-Only mode, updates from others are not pulled in.

The only solution I have seen online is to close and reopen the workbook, whether manually or with VBA. However these people weren't using Legacy Sharing.

Is there a better way to get the changes while in Legacy Sharing Read-Only mode? In the Immediate VBA window I can see that .AutoUpdateFrequency is still 5 while in Read-Only, .EnableEvents = True. I also made sure that .Saved = True in case Excel was worried about changes being lost.

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
