I have a column that has about 150 characters. I only want the first 50 to be visible and the rest to be truncated. I don't care if there are ... to let me know if there are more characters. I right clicked to get to cell formatting. I can wrap text, shrink text to fit but I don't see a choice to truncate after a certain number of characters.

How can I do this?

Thanks,

Kevin

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?

You need to fill the cells in the next column with something to prevent spill. A space will do.

Or for those columns where the cell data "spills over", format them as "word wrap".
