Limit data in a graph data table

I have a graph with a benchmark line and a results line. We have added a data table to the bottom of the graph. We would like the data table to only show the results data, not the benchmark data in the data table. I have tried using a 2nd axis but that did not work. Other than adding a object (rectangle) to cover the data (see image), is there a way to remove the bench mark data from the table but still have the benchmark on the graph?

You could have this data table structure for your graph and show Budget plus month as Categorical axis. See below,
