Need to create a basic line chart showing $ amount on Y-axis and dates on X-axis. No issues on the $ amount, but cannot figure it out how to make the dates to work. The main issue is that my starting date is 3/24/15, and the following dates should be the end of the following quarters (6/30/14, 9/30/14, so on). I have tried two different configurations and both don't produce the expected result:
#1 -
Bounds - minimum value 3/25/14 / max value 9/30/17
Units - major: 3 months / minor: 1 month
Base - days
This configuration shows a graphic with starting date 3/24 followed by 6/24, 9/24, and so on.

#2 -
Bounds - minimum value 3/30/14 / max value 9/30/17
Units - major: 3 months / minor: 1 month
Base - days
This configuration shows a graphic with starting date 3/24 followed by 6/24, 9/24, and so on.

So far the not ideal solution is to manually add the dates as a text underneath of the graphic, but the scale is never right.

Any suggestion is much appreciated.
