Does anyone know a formula or way of linking cell formats as well as values so that if B1 = A1, when you change the value and format of A1 the same will occur in B1.

Have seen several topics along the same lines but no-one seems to have cracked it yet.

Desperate to automate more to spend less time working & more time playing.

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney
You can use some event code to do this. It would actually copy A1 to B1. Are those the only cells involved, or do you want, for example, C1 duplicated in D1, etc.

I have approx 10 source workbooks with 1000 cells each all linked to a destination workbook summarising all the data. When I update the data in each of the source workbooks I also fill the cells to show that a change has occurred.

When I open the single destination workbook, all the values update as normal but the formats don't change to reflect the changes made in the source workbooks.

As the files are only going to increase in size and number, I need to find some way of automating this process to avoid duplication of work.
