Does anyone know how to put a formula/cell link within a line of text please?

such as, I would write within a cell: -

the current sales for this year is £**.**

£**.** would be the cell the amount would be linked to.

Many thanks

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
Sorry... I only asked half a question.

What would I need to put if I wanted to add additional text after the formula link to the cell please?

Many thanks
