I'm linking from one spreadsheet to another (see below):

Cell M6 on Source.xls is copied to cell B4 on Location.xls

The problem is, if the referenced cell (M6 on Source.xls) is blank then it shows up as zero in cell B4 on Location.xls. Instead of showing as zero is there a way to have cell B4 shown as blank on Location.xls?

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
Tools, Options, View Tab. Uncheck the Zero values option.

Or, as a formula

if(source.xls!m6="","",source.xls!m6)
