Link to CSV files as data source

I seem to be going in circles on this issue. I have 30 csv files that are updated everyday. I have an Excel spreadsheet with links to each of the 30 csv files for specific cells where I need to pull data to update my spreadsheet. The linked path from one cell is the drive\folder name\linked csv file name with cell reference. The next time I open my spreadsheet I get an error " We can't update some of the links in your workbook right now". If I try to update values form the Edit LInks panel I get another error. The only way to update the spreadsheet is to open each csv source file. Is there a way I can set up links to my csv sources files so my spreadsheet is automatically updated without opening each CSV source file? If I share my spreadsheet is there a way to keep the source files linked without breaking the links? Thank you
