Hello All,

I have a question. When i try to link the cell from one workbook to another, when I close linked workbook the link is short ex: G:\...... What I want it to do is give me full path such as \\gou1\cou\... ect. G drive is a mapped drive in windows for me but I dont want it to show up like that in my workbooks since other people that will use this workbook dont have the same letter linked to that drive.

I dont know if there is a way to fix that or not. If you know of a solution please let me know

Your help is much appreciated!

Excel Facts

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.
yeah that answers the question. Do you know if there is a way to put full path even though you opened the file through relative path?
