I have an Access database uploaded to Sharepoint. I want to link to the tables in that database from an Access FE outside of Sharepoint.

Any insight?

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
If you are saying that you uploaded an MDB or ACCDB file to SharePoint and then want to use a Frontend File to be attached to that file, there isn't a way to do that.

If you have SharePoint lists, you can link to those with a frontend and store the data within SharePoint (in the lists) but any version prior to Access 2010 and SharePoint 2010 with Access Services, is not all that efficient and you can only work with small amounts of data.

I am aware of Sharepoint lists and their limitations ... hence my attempt at a backend accdb file uploaded to SP.

If Access can point to lists with a URL, why can it not point to an accdb? Of course, that's rhetorical ... I don't expect you to answer for Microsoft's insufficiency (and I'm a MS proponent) ...
