Example:
Cell A1 has a value and cell A2 should always have the same value as cell A1. This means also if cell A1 is a blank cell. If you insert in cell A2 [=A1] and cell A1 is blank, than cell A2 will have a 0 value in the formula bar. This is not want I want. If cell A1 is blank than cell A2 should also be blank. I have tried IF functions, hide zero values on a worksheet with format cells, tried conditional format, All of these solutions will not show a zero value in the cell, but in the formula bar it still show the 0 or the IF function.
[Formulas as DSUM will show the total when the criteria are blank and not 0, and these formulas calculates with the formula bar.]
Are there possibilities that I use =A1 in data validation or conditional format?
Please help me with this.
