Linked file opening as blank

Hi,

I have a problem with a linked file that opens from a macro in another worksheet. When I run the macro it's meant log certain details in another sheet but this sheet keeps opening blank.

My colleagues are using the same worksheets and don't have a problem so it appears a setting problem rather than an issue with the macro.

I remember last year fixing this by turning off the work offline mode in excel - but cant remember how to repeat this.. any ideas?
