Hi

I have a spreadsheet that has links to about 10 other spreadsheets. When I try and save the file I get 2 error messages.

1) Excel cannot complete this task with the available resourses. Choose less data or close other applications.

2) Unable to save external link values

Even though I get these messages the file seems to save ok. However, it is getting a bit annoying!

Has anyone seen these messages before or know what the cause of them is?

ps. I have an On_Open macro on the spreadsheet that opens all the linked files.

Excel Facts

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
Hi

Try going into Tools>Options>Calculation tab and under Workbook Options uncheck "Save External Link Values".

Best regards

Richard
