If my excel document has 2 worksheets in it, how can I make a cell from one copy into another? For example, I want cell N5 of sheet 2 to copy into cell B1 of sheet 1.

Thank you,
Jillian

How to show all formulas in Excel?
Press Ctrl+` to show all formulas. Press it again to toggle back to numbers. The grave accent is often under the tilde on US keyboards.
Jillian,

Same thing different method: Copy N5 and in B1 Paste Special - Paste Link.

Edit: Actually not exactly the same. With above method you get =Sheet2!$N$5. The $-symbols is a reference used when you copy cells in reference to other cells. What I mainly meant to show was a simple way to link your cells.

On cell Sheet1!B1 type "=" withouth the quotations.
Than go to Sheet2! and left click cell N5 and hit enter.
It will the formula you need without typing it. :p
