I am linking cells to another tab in my workbook. The formula has been working fine until suddently today when I try to link the cell instead of showing the cell content it is showing the cell formula. for example:

cell A1 I type =Master!A21
previously cell A1 would show : 2.2 (which is the content of cell A21 on Master tab)
Now A1 is showing the formula =Master!A21

How can I fix this?

Excel Facts

What is the fastest way to copy a formula?
If A2:A50000 contain data. Enter a formula in B2. Select B2. Double-click the Fill Handle and Excel will shoot the formula down to B50000.
what happens if you press Control + ~ ?

The entire spread sheet shows formalas instead of content, and when I click again it goes back to some showing the content of the cell and some showing the formula. It is giving me an error showing Inconsitence Calculated Column Formula...
