Is it possible to link one cell to another ie =A1 so that not only their values are equal but is it possible to have their formats are the same as well?

For example, If I change the formats (font color/pattern color) in Cell A, I want the same to happen in Cell B

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.
I don't think you can link formats from one cell to another.

I just do the standard link for the value, and then copy/paste formats if need be.

If there aren't too many conditions across the entire worksheet, you could use conditional formats.

Or you could also do conditional formatting via a VBA macro like on a worksheet change event if you have more than 3 conditional formats.

Hi RailSplitter44:

To add to what Big Monkey has already stated, Linked cell will not inherit the Format from the source cell. So you may link the cell for value, and then to copy the FORMAT of the cell do ...

from source EDIT|Copy and to destination EDIT|PasteSpecial|Formats

natively from within the Worksheet environment or via VBA
