If Sheet 1 is a data entry sheet, can I use sheet 2 for summary based on a cell or row meeting certain criteria.

Ex. Sheet 1
Column A
Salesperson
Bob
John
Ben
Bob

Can I say if column A, sheet 1 = Bob then copy that entire row automatically into sheet 2 in a specific place? In this case it would copy rows 2 and 5 (salesperson is row 1)

How do I do that?

Thanks.

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
A better description of what I'm trying to do. If I want to be able to enter data in sheet 1 (immediately below) and be able to have it automatically place an entire row meeting certain criteria in sheet 2. For instance, if Salesperson=Bob on sheet 1 place that entire row in sheet 2 under "Bob". A problem I'm sure to experience is how to eliminate multiple postings of the same row, but that will be for later.

I would like it to post in 2nd worksheet so that my salesman figures are summed automatically by each salesman rather than sorting the initial worksheet. The subtotals are just to represent where my totals will be, but I wanted to give a simple visual.

I appreciate any help.
