Hi,
I'm new to using excel for more than just a spreadsheet so bear with me please. I want to store a set of constants in access and use them in excel in calculation. I would like to have access to the same database file from more than one excel file. I was thinking of using combo boxes if they can be linked. What is the best and simplist method to use. Hope this is clear.

Hi, again
yes this will do what I was hoping to do. But, all I get in the drop down list in G2 is the content of cell B1 from the nitrogen sheet(bag name) if I change $B$1 to $B$2 than all I get is calcium nitrate. If I take away the $'s then I get a blank list.

post back with the various formulas you're using (cut & poaste them from excel to make sure they're exactly as on the spreadsheet.

alternatively, you can send me the workbook if you like - check your private messages.
