Linking Excel to Microsoft Outlook

I want to write a macro that opens microsoft outlook, creates a new message, copies and the pastes a selection of cells into the message and sends it to a set group. I've got the macro down to open microsoft outlook, but I how can I then manipulate outlook to do what I want? Is this even possible? Thx.
