Hi all,

No doubt someone can answer this one in a second but I've searched all over and can't find the answer...

Basic example, you want the contents/formula in A1 on Sheet1 to show in A1 on Sheet2...

So you'd enter in cell A1 on Sheet2: Sheet1!A1 and the value from the first sheet would be there... no probs...

What if Sheet1 is called 'Sheet 1' or 'Sheet Number 1' (i.e. not one whole word), how do you do it, dealing with the spaces?
I tried using speechmarks "Sheet 1"!A1 and all sorts...

Can someone quickly put me out my misery on this one please?

Excel Facts

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
Use single quotes not double quotes.

='Sheet 1'!A1
