Is there any way to link a field in an MS Word document to a cell in an Excel spreadsheet? The goal is to create a dynamic Word document that will automatically update as the supporting Excel spreadsheet changes. For example:
“Joe has 2 dogs and lives by the beach”
What I am trying to do is Link the number “2” to an Excel spreadsheet so that the number will automatically update when the spreadsheet is changed. Can this be done? I was thinking some kind of mail merge but I really don’t like that idea. Thanks people.
