Is it possible to display an alert if a workbook has external link references as soon as a workbook is opened? I know there's a way to find out via the tool bar, but unfortunately it is too difficult for some... :devilish: lol

Just curious, if it's not possible would be cool if Excel could have custom alerts for certain functions and processes!

Thanks

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
Yes!

I am just wondering if a pop-up could appear either asking to update links, so that users know the workbook contains external link references because individuals that use my workbooks do not check for external links and blow the links!

I'm looking for some kind of alert feature other than just having a password protected workbook...

Thanks
