Links between worksheets will not update

I have a excel file that has roughly 20 pages in it. The first page of the workbook is a header page in which I update key information. All of the subsequent worksheets have links to this worksheet and should subsequently update. However, when I change data in the first page, the changes are not updating through the remainder of the workbook. if I go in to each of the other pages, place my cursor on the cell, hit F2 and enter it will update. What do I need to change so this automatically occurs once I update my first page.

check tools - options - Calculate ?? Set to Automatic instead of Manual
