using office 2000...

want to create a drop down box that has a list of items that when I choose the item I want it will put it in the cell..I have done this before, but don't recall how to do it...

Excel Facts

Wildcard in VLOOKUP
Use =VLOOKUP("Apple*" to find apple, Apple, or applesauce
Try the Data menu and then Validation select list. You can then enter in the list you want with choices seperated by commas or used a named list in another worksheet.
