Hi All,

I have more questions.

Can the list in a drop down box be changed based on the input of another drop down box.

example

Cell B1
Drop down list box containing list of sales people. (THIS PART I CAN DO)

warren
gina
mike
joe

Cell B2
Drop down list box containing customers of sales person specific to the person selected in B1. (NEED HELP HERE)

Then

Can B1 be password protected so only Gina can view her customers etc. (NEED HELP HERE TOO)

Sorry for the repost. Just no one seems to be able to answer this one.

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).

Thank you so much for your response. i couldnt find the answer anywhere on here.

how about my second question.

Can the selections be password protected.

That is to say.

I want to email this master file to all my sales team. But I dont want Gina to see what warren is doing etc.

So when Gina opens the file, and selects her name from the list it asks her for a specific password associated with her name.

and so on and so on for each of the sales people.

Next time just bump your original post (which I have since locked). Multiple threads on the same topic can make things confusing. ;)

If you'll notice, we posted at the same time, so I didn't see your question until now.

You could password protect using a select case argument in the Worbook_Open event, but if you're going that far why not just load each user's information when you open it based on their login name, which you can get with Environ("username"). That way they don't have to remember additonal passwords and you're streamlining the process for them.
