Is it posible to colour a line in a list box based on a setting in a worksheet i.e. if a record is marked as 'complete' in a cell can I colour the entry in the list box green?

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.

It is possible but requires a fair bit of API code. More trouble than it's worth IMO.
There's a demo for a combobox here on Andy's site which I think could be converted to work with a listbox.

Yeh. Looked at the example and think I'll give it a miss!

Cheers Rory.

You could consider using the Listview control.
Andy,
I could but I've got all the code done now - it just would have been good to show records that were marked 'complete' - I'll definately look at this but I'm on a deadline so don't want to do anything that might stuff it up!

Thank you (and great site BTW)

Depending on what you already have set up you could use a multi column listbox, where a column is used to store record status.

glad you like the site :)
