Dear users,
I would like to ask You about working with live, data from website.

I loaded data from https://coinmarketcap.com/sk/ (live cryptocurency price chart) used Excel function : Data from web

my problem is:

I need to use live price value for the future calculations, but can not get rid of dolar sign,
(need to work only with number information)
I tried (ctrl + H) replace $ with nothing, but after restoring Data from web $ appears again

What can I do

Thanks so much

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
Either PasteSpecial in your code (Paste:=xlPasteValues) or format the column/range afterwards (NumberFormat = "General")? If cell data is like Access field data (which I'm more familiar with) you can't "get rid of" the $ using Replace because it's not actually there; i.e. it is not a character in the cell data. It's only displayed as $4 but the cell value is actually 4.
