Loading dots splash screen on Workbook_Open

I have a code for "Bubbles" imitation while loading a workbook. I was trying to make them appear on Workbook_open but something is wrong and my code does not work correct. Dots are not running. I think the problem in current code is with

Can you include in your post the HideTitleBar, FindWindow functions and associated APIs, constants etc.
e.g. SetWindowLong, SetLayeredWindowAttributes, ....

Is your Form called "Loading"?

Is it a heavy workbook? Does loading take long time?
If there are a lot of background operations going on refreshing the form will not be top priority while the workbook is loading.
Maybe including DoEvents will help a bit.
for me the form runs ok but I have included it in a lightweight workbook.

I suggest you include a debug.print now() line in the loadingdots() function to confirm if and when it runs.
