Hi, I'm writing a code in Word in order to transfer information from Excel to Word. First, I need to add to the target Word project a reference to the Excel object library.

I first click on the Normal project, and go to Tools > References. I selected the check box "Microsoft Excel 14.0 Object Library" and click OK. (I'm using Office 2010)

However, I couldn't browse Excel objects in the Word's Object browser, e.g. I typed "Range" in the search field but no Excel objects results were returned (all returned results from Word and Office library).

Could someone help me on this please... thanks in advance :)

Excel Facts

Format cells as time
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+2 to format cells as time. (Shift 2 is the @ sign).
Excel should be in the dropdown of libraries at the top left of the Object Browser.

Mind you, there is a Range object in Word, why not try selecting just Excel from the dropdown - it defaults to search < All Libraries >.
